Christmas Fun!

We had a lot of fun with all our family here. It was crazy at times but that is what makes for great memories. We are so thankful for our families and all we recieved for christmas. We are glad the weather didn't keep anyone away. It will now be a long time until we see our parents, not until the baby is born. It will go fast with lots of fun things happening in everyones lives.
Here are a few pictures from our crazy week!

This weekend our friends Zach and Amy got married. The ceremony was outside and it was about 40 degrees but it made for great memories. Seth was the best man and it was nice to see him in something other than sweatpants on his day off! Notice Amy's dad and his gun.

My hair did look nice but due to the rain and the wind it ended up looking like a wild mess.
I have been very busy at school, we had parent-teacher conferences Thursday night and we have them again Monday night. We also had a fourth grader at our school go missing on Wednesday and was found dead Friday afternoon. It will be a hard week at school, especially for those 4th graders who were friends with her.

We went to a bonfire this weekend and had a lot of fun. I was just excited I had enough energy to last until 10:00PM. It was also fun to hang out with people from the Police Department who I don't get to see that often. We also went to the pumpkin patch and cut down (well Seth cut down) corn stocks to put outside. I will let Seth post pictures of the outside of our house since he did all the work. We are getting excited for the colder weather even though we are very busy until the 1st of the year.

Why three you might ask?

The New Fence!

The new fence has been in for a little while and the dogs are finally getting used to using their doggy door. It makes it so nice. We don't have to open a door they just go down in the basement and out they go!
Aspen is shown sporting her Ottumwa Bulldogs shirt, showing her support.
School is going good, we are getting into the routine of how the day should look and we are adjusting to the new school.
Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Just a normal Saturday!

Aspen and Bella being lazy on this rainy Saturday. Bella loves to sit on the back of the couch (like a cat) to watch who is coming and going from the street. She needs to know everything that is happening!

We are BUSY...

Our New house. I will post inside pictures early next week! I don't think a mustache is a good look for me.

Well to sum up our last few days...

This past weekend we were in Iowa for our good friends wedding. It was beautiful and we are so excited for Brandon and Mollie to be married. We had a great time.

Monday morning Seth helped me at school and then we closed on our new house! We had four of our good friends and Zach (Seths brother) help us move. Here is a funny picture for you to imagine. Five big trucks full of stuff traveling down the road, I was leading the way in my car with both Aspen and Bella (the dogs) in the front seat. I am sure we were a sight to see.

Now it is Thursday and we are all done moving and unpacking. I even had a chance to spend a few hours in my classroom yesterday. I unpacked all my boxes in just under 2 hours! I have to finish my bulletin boards (thankfully my mom will be here to help!).

Have a fun and safe weekend!

4th of July Weekend

Seth and I enjoying the fireworks!

Beside the fact that our sewer backed up and we had a huge mess in our basement we had a great weekend. Seth's family was here to help celebrate our Independence and we had lots of fun playing in the pool, going to the parade, and watching fireworks. The dogs had fun too, but were very tired when everyone left.

Mallory, Seth, and Zach all enjoyed the pool between rain showers.

We are looking forward to traveling to Iowa for our friends wedding and moving into our new house next week!

Trip to Minnesota!

We had a great trip to Minnesota. We spent the time helping Chase (Chelsea's brother) celebrate his 21st birthday, eating lots, and enjoying family. A highlight of the trip for Chelsea was throwing rocks in the pond at Famous Daves with family friends and shopping and swimming with her mom. Seth enjoyed hanging out at the farm with his family.
We are looking forward to the 4th of July here in Missouri and can't believe it is almost July. Only a few short weeks before Chelsea can get into her new classroom and start her passion in life, organizing oh and teaching!
Have a great week!

We had a friend over tonight. Her name is Taser and she is 10 weeks old. She had a lot of fun with Aspen, but Bella didn't quite know what to think. It was fun to have a puppy around again, except for the three times she peed in the house.
