What we have been up to...

The four most important men in my life
The two most important women in my life.

My Mom had my Grandma's name (Bonnie Bogus) engraved on the Mothers Wall at a church in Laurie, MO.  The shrine was constructed in the mid-1980′s as a way to honor Mary, the mother of Jesus.  In 2003, the shrine was recognized as the 16th National Shrine in the United States.
The Mother’s Wall is a tribute to all mothers, living or deceased.

We had a great time at the lake with Tama, Papa, Grandpa Ron, and Grandma Bonnie.  We had to leave just as Landon was warming up to Grandma and Grandpa.  I wished they all lived closer so we could hang out more often, we always have such a great time.
We came home to attend the FOP Pool party.  Landon had a wonderful time floating around the pool.  We even got him on one of the slides which he said was fun but didn't want to go again.

We have been busy enjoying the last few weeks of summer.  We have had a great summer and are sad to see it go but its time to get back to a routine and we love the fall so that is always something we look forward to when summer comes to a end.

Big Boy Room

This post is way over due....Landon has been in his big boy bed for awhile now and has only fallen out twice.  If you notice we decided not to stain the dresser.  It has a few different types of wood and wouldn't have looked the way I imagined so I decided to let Seth have his way and just put a clear cover over it.  It turned out okay and will serve the purpose we wanted so I guess it was a good project.

Stay tuned for pictures of the next project we have started and are almost finished with...Wow I bet Seth is really excited for me to go back to school so I can focus on issues in my classroom and not continue to have him do projects at home :)
