Minnesota Harvest-Apple Orchard

Even though it was raining when we left home it stopped in time for us to go out and pick some apples.  We got to pick Haralson's which are one of my favorites.  I think Landon's favorite part was being able to take one or two bites out of an apple and drop it on the ground :)  Our crazy driver could not understand what we were (or anyone else on the tractor) were saying when we told him which apples we wanted to pick and drove us to every stop and asked if we wanted off...after about the third stop he got us to our destination.  I was a little worried when he came back to pick us up if we would make it back to our car.  But we did and then we went over to the World's Largest Candy Store.  They are also know for their huge selection of puzzles. I didn't get any pictures of that because I was too busy buying candy from my childhood like candy cigarettes :) Landon picked out blue cotton candy and as I type has it all over his hands and face...he also picked out mini M & M's.  We picked up some bacon flavored popcorn and Apple Cider brats...I'm sure I would have spent a lot more money but they didn't accept credit cards...which probably is a good think, I wouldn't want to go into debit buying candy :)

Children's Museum

Today we got to go the Children's Museum.  Landon was a little overwhelmed at all that he could play  with but he had a great time.  He says his favorite parts were; the boat races, the city bus, and dancing.  My favorite part was dancing and being able to see on the TV how I actually look while dancing :)

 

Mall of America!

Today we got to go to the Mall of America and ride rides at Nickelodeon Universe and man did Landon have a good time. 

 After we were done with the rides we ate at the Rain Forest Café.  Landon got a fun drink that came with a tree frog named Cha Cha.  He played with that thing all dinner and Cha Cha even got to go in the hot tub with us to swim after we got home.

Landscape Arboretum

Today we went to the Arboretum to look at the flowers and play in their kids area.  Landon had fun even though it was a little chilly.

Minnesota!

The kids and I are in Minnesota visiting while Seth is back working :( We had a great trip up here, the kids did great and the only time I wanted to cry was when we ran into construction and backup traffic twice...My Grandpa always says Minnesota has two seasons; winter and road construction.  His humor made me laugh and got me through the backups :)
Today we went to the Minnesota Zoo...Landon says his favorite parts were the Penguins (he loved when they jumped/belly flopped into the water and the bear that was swimming and showing off for us.  He/She (not sure which) would follow Landon back and forth as he walked next to the pool.  Brooklyn also enjoyed the Penguin exhibit and sleep through most the rest of the zoo.  The weather was wonderful and the zoo was not crowed at all, it made for a great day!
