COOLING DOWN!

Landon, dad, Bella and Aspen went for a long walk and everyone was very hot. Landon liked hanging out with just his diaper on. He relaxed and let the ceiling fan blow away all his troubles.

Growing up so fast

Landon is growing up so fast. He is eating squash. He loved it the first day but then wasn't so sure the next night when it was cold. But he adjusted quick and ate the whole thing. I don't really like the slow process you have to follow with food. I am getting excited for him to try the other food.
Landon loves to laugh with (at) dad. He really has such a neat personality. Landon, well Seth too!
Almost as big as Bella!
Look how big he is getting. I can't believe only 6 months ago he weighed 2 pounds 7 ounces.

Have a great rest of the week and enjoy the long weekend. Seth has to work so Landon and I are going to try to have some play dates and enjoy the weather. Next weekend we are headed to Ottumwa to watch Uncle Zachs football team, and to hang out with Julie, Brady, and Mallory. Grandma is coming to and she might bring Grandpa or her good friend Joni. It will be fun to see them.

Home with dad!

Landon really doesn't mind staying home with dad. He smiles a lot and even helped mow the yard, well not really, but he did hang out in his baby bjorn while dad mowed. We really love our days off with Landon and so does he.

Friends...

Aspen and Landon have become great friends. Aspen always wants to know what Landon is doing.
On Saturday, we went to a Christian festival at the Capital. We had a lot of fun listening to music and hanging out on the lawn. Ignore Seth's crazy mustache, he is in a contest to see who can grow it out the longest. There is only one other guy left so I just hope it gets over soon.
Landon is almost big enough to play in the exersaucer. It can't touch the ground yet but some day soon.

Back to School...

Yesterday was my first day of school. It was bitter sweet. I was ready to go back since I was off since March but at the same time I didn't want to leave Landon. But he's in a great preschool and is very loved and that helps while I am at school. Here is a picture of our first day.

I think the year will be a good one. I have a good class and only have 23 students. That's low since last spring I had 27 on my list. I hope everyone that has started school has had great days and for those of you who haven't enjoy the rest of your summer and your first days back!
