March of Dimes

The rain could not keep us from walking to stop prematurity.  When we first arrived it was a down pour. I was soaking wet while getting Landon in the stroller.  We did have time to dry off a little and eat lunch before the walk started and by the time we were ready to walk to rain stopped.  There was a great turn out and LOTS of money was raised.  Thank you everyone who donated to our team and we looking forward to walking next year. 

Chicks

This week we hatched chicks in my classroom.  I brought them home last night for Landon and our neighbor Kenadie to play with. They both loved the chicks and were really mad at me when I told them we had to put them away.

New Project!

Seth (with a little help from Landon) made us a bonfire pit.  We are a little bummed that the pavers we bought a few years ago do not match in color to the ones we purchased this year.  Oh well, you have fires in the dark, right?

Here are a few pictures of Landon opening up his presents on his birthday, and then at his big party with all of his friends.  Update on Landon at his two year checkup: Weight: 24lbs 2oz(10th percentile, Height: 32.5 in(10th percentile), Head circumference: 19 in(40th percentile).  Landon is finally getting a little taller.  Maybe it is from all of the frosting he ate at all of his different celebrations combined.  Thanks to all of those who made all of Landon's special days extra special!

Our Little Man is 2!!

Landon truly is quite the little character.  He constantly says Hi and Bye to almost everyone he sees or passes by.  Landon loves climbing on just about everything and is a very loving and active little boy.  As you can see he also enjoys putting mommy's underwear on his head and around his neck.  Landon has 14 teeth, 8 on the bottom and 6 on top.  We are so thankful for our pleasant little guy and thank God each day for how healthy and gifted our little miracle is.
