SNOW FUN!

We woke up to our first snow fall of the season.  Landon and Brooklyn loved eating the snow and Landon tried so hard to sled...It just wasn't really happening!

Happy Halloween!

This year was so easy to carve pumpkins. Neither kid wanted to touch the pumpkin and Landon just wanted to put masks on them, so we cut holes for eyes and months and we were finished! 

Landon and I had the day off so we made puddy while Brooklyn was napping. 

I will hopefully get a good picture of the kids in costume and post that later! 

Fun at the Farm!

The University of Missouri had a fun day at the South Farm on Saturday! We had a fun time and the kids got to see a lot of different animals.  Landon and Seth made it through the corn maze in record time and no wrong turns...way to read the map boys!

This week we were supposed to be really busy, well Seth was but these storms have post-pone everything until next week so it looks like next week will be a very busy week...

Patriot Day

Today we remember all the lives that were lost September 11th.  It's strange that I have a child asking me what I was doing on that day.  I remember growing up and asking my parents where they were when different historical events happen and now Landon is asking me to recall that awful day.  Today we also thank the Police Officers and Fire Fighters who risked their lives that day.  WE LOVE YOU SETH, I know you were not there that day but your daily sacrifice does not go unnoticed.  We love you for providing for our family, we love you for leaving your work at work (most of the time) and we love you for protecting our lives and our hearts.  We are very PROUD of you!

I can't wait to pick Landon up from school today, they are doing a lot of activities around the events of this day and Seth gets to visit his school and talk to them about being a Police Officer.  I know Landon will be so excited to see Seth and share him with his class.  He does not know he is coming.  

Today remember those events and all the events that followed and say a pray for the people serving and protecting our Country.
